Minimum HW specifications

• CPU: >Intel i5 (6th Gen)

• HD: >32GB

• Ports: ETH, HDMI, at least 2 USB For a "minimal" configuration (CAM + Screen):

Steps

1. Turn off the EdgePC

2. Connect ethernet cable, screen and (if available) Logitech usb CAM

3. Insert the USB stick into a USB port on the EdgePC

4. Turn on the PC and force BIOS setup via keyboard:

   • Enable all USB ports

   • Remove any Secure Boot

   • Force automatic "Power ON" when power is present

   • Verify that the USB stick is detected and set it as first in the boot list

   • Boot: UEFI

   • Save settings and restart the PC

5. After the boot loader, a message should appear:

   • Booting flash and a flashing underscore

   • When finished, the PC will shut down automatically

IMPORTANT: Remember to remove the USB stick before turning the PC back on

1. Power the EdgePC back ON by unplugging and reconnecting the power supply to verify that automatic power on has been set correctly

2. After the bootloader, a green logo should appear and remain for a few minutes (the PC is downloading the latest version of the software)

3. When finished, a startup checklist will appear for one minute

   • PC name

   • Network

   • Detected cams: in this case, we expect it to be 1

   • Data: standing with your face in front of the cam, it should turn green within a few seconds

4. After the startup checklist, a background video with space will appear with the PC name overlaid. This means that the SW installation process is complete
